Iran’s Underground Church Reportedly Surging

Reports claim that tens of thousands of mosques have closed across Iran as millions leave Islam and begin turning toward Jesus.

Human Khalil, an Iranian-born believer, says widespread unrest, government oppression, and especially the harsh treatment of women have caused many Iranians to reject Islam completely.

He believes a massive underground church movement is rapidly growing, with an estimated 10 million hidden Christians throughout the nation.

Many Iranians report encountering Jesus through dreams and visions, leading to a rise in conversions despite the serious dangers involved — leaving Islam in Iran can bring severe punishment.

Khalil and his family came to faith through the kindness and prayers of a local church after fleeing Iran.

He urges Christians worldwide to pray for the underground church and support ministries helping persecuted believers escape danger and share the Gospel.
