Many people don’t realize that when Abraham and Isaac went up Mount Moriah, Isaac carried the wood for his own sacrifice.
Genesis tells us Abraham carried the fire and the knife—but Isaac carried the wood. This wasn’t random.
Centuries later, Jesus would climb a hill carrying the wood of His own sacrifice. And just as Isaac asked, “Where is the lamb?”—God would later answer that question in full through Christ.
Mount Moriah would one day become a significant hill within Jerusalem—the place where God truly provided the Lamb.
