Jacksonville just witnessed something powerful. Over 14,000 people gathered at Hanna Park Beach as 2,552 people publicly declared their faith in Jesus through water baptism at The Church of Eleven22’s annual beach baptism. Worship filled the shoreline, families celebrated in the surf, and thousands watched lives changed in real time.
This year’s 2,552 baptisms made it the largest beach baptism in the church’s history. Pastor Joby Martin said, “The church is alive and well, the Spirit of God is on the move, and the gospel of Jesus Christ is still changing lives today.”
