Jeremy Doku Shares Bold Faith Focus

Professional footballer Jeremy Doku openly shared a strong and personal Christian faith testimony, explaining that his life goals are shaped by his belief in Jesus Christ and accountability before God.

Doku said he believes Christ will return and that there will be no second chance, stating:

“When Jesus comes back, there is no second chance.”

He explained that his ultimate aim is not fame, money, or success, but to be faithful to what God has entrusted to him. He described imagining Jesus asking him how he used the gifts he was given:

“My goal is when he comes back, that he says, ‘Well done, servant.’”
“I gave you money. I gave you friends, connection. I gave you a wife. I gave you fame. I gave you a family. I gave you the resources… What did you do for me?”

Doku emphasized that this question forces deep self-reflection, admitting that living for oneself is not true sacrifice:

“When you ask that, then you realize that basically I’ve been living for myself, and that’s not sacrificing yourself daily.”

He concluded by reaffirming his purpose and hope in eternity, saying:

“My goal is that when he comes back, that he tells me, ‘Well done, good servant,’ and then I go with him into eternity.”
