Speaking about lessons he learned through mentors and daily time in Scripture, Kubiak said, “Your identity is not in your job. Our identity is in Christ.” He explained that studying the Bible and being guided into regular Bible studies helped lift a heavy burden from his life.
Kubiak emphasized that understanding himself as “a child of God” reshaped his priorities. While football is part of what he does, he said it is not who he is. “Football is something that I do,” he said, adding that striving “to be a good father and be a faithful husband is way more important than any of that.” He noted that grounding his life in faith brought clarity, peace, and a healthier perspective on success and responsibility.
