Natasha Bure defended her mother, Candace Cameron Bure, after the actress faced backlash for publicly expressing her Christian beliefs and support for “traditional marriage.”
“The Lord blessed me with the best parents I could’ve ever asked for,” Natasha wrote. She praised her mother for “raising us up in the Word of God” and later added that her favorite thing about Candace is “how much she loves Jesus and how firm in her faith she stands.”
The criticism came after Candace said Great American Family is led by “Christians that love the Lord” and that the network “will keep traditional marriage at the core.” In response to the backlash, Natasha said her mother “is bold” and that “the battle is HIS.”
