Evangelist Franklin Graham and Pastor Greg Laurie are calling on Christians across the United States to unite in a national moment of prayer and repentance on Wednesday, January 14, at noon.
“If you think our nation is in trouble now, just wait,” Graham wrote on social media.
Graham, who serves as president of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, warned that America has increasingly turned away from God and His commandments, embracing a culture of godless secularism.
“As a nation, our sins are great,” he said. “We must ask for God’s forgiveness and seek His face. Pray for our leaders, and pray that God would bring calm to our streets.”
