On his very first day in office, New York City’s new mayor, Zohran Kwame Mamdani, revoked key executive orders from former mayor Eric Adams that showed support for Israel.
Among the rescinded orders were:
• The city’s adoption of the IHRA definition of antisemitism — a widely-recognized standard used to protect Jewish communities from hate.
• A directive that barred city agencies from participating in boycotts of Israel.
This isn’t just a local political shift—it’s prophetic. The Bible clearly says that in the last days, all nations will turn against Israel (see Zechariah 12, Psalm 2, Joel 3). What we’re seeing now are early indicators of what the Bible says will eventually culminate globally.
