One Word Changed the Message

A drone captured a man climbing a billboard to paint over one single word—“NOT.”

The sign originally read: “The Bible says… JESUS IS NOT GOD.”

By covering that one word, the message was corrected back to what Scripture actually teaches:

Jesus is God.

That was a good decision.

Because John 1:1 doesn’t leave room for confusion: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1).
And Jesus doesn’t present Himself as merely a wise teacher. He speaks with divine authority, receives worship, forgives sins, and claims unity with the Father—claims that make no sense unless He is who He says He is.

So when a billboard tries to take the center of Christianity and flip it into a denial, that’s not “just another opinion.” That’s a direct contradiction of the faith Christians are commanded to confess.

This moment matters because we’re living in a time where people want Christians to soften everything down. They want a Jesus who is inspirational but not Lord, comforting but not King, helpful but not holy. But biblical Christianity has always been clear:

Jesus is not an accessory to your life—He is God.

And sometimes defending truth is as simple as refusing to let a lie sit there unchallenged.
