Over 6,500 Students Worshiped Jesus — Nearly 2,000 Made Decisions for Christ
A powerful wave of spiritual renewal is sweeping college campuses across the United States — and it was especially evident during the recent Collegiate Day of Prayer. Christians from around the world united in prayer for revival on university campuses, and the impact was nothing short of remarkable.
At Ohio State University, the Spirit of God moved in a profound way. According to reports, more than 6,500 students gathered in The Schott Arena for worship, praise, and Gospel ministry — the largest gathering of its kind in recent memory.
As the night unfolded, nearly 2,000 students responded to the Gospel, stepping forward to commit their lives to Jesus and publicly declare their faith. Many experienced emotional encounters with God, finding freedom, hope, and a fresh sense of purpose.
Organizers and campus ministry leaders described the atmosphere as “charged with the presence of God,” with students repenting, praying fervently, and turning from old patterns to follow Christ. The Collegiate Day of Prayer — which has seen thousands of campuses adopted in prayer — served as a catalyst for this movement, connecting local churches, campus ministries, and students in one unified cry for revival.
This moment isn’t isolated; it’s part of a broader pattern of spiritual awakening marked by campus worship nights, altar responses, baptisms, and Gospel decisions. Leaders believe this generation is experiencing a genuine hunger for God — one that prayer and unity are fueling across campuses nationwide.
