Today in the DC metro area, a road-rage incident on I-495 turned deadly when a driver got out of his vehicle with a knife and began stabbing the people in the other car.
A 39-year-old woman was killed. Two others were critically injured. Even their dog was slaughtered in the attack. A Virginia State Trooper confronted the suspect, who advanced at him with the knife—and the trooper was forced to shoot, ending the rampage.

For Christians, this is not the hour to fear. This is the hour to stay awake, stay filled with the Spirit, and keep our love burning hot for God and for people. The world may be growing colder, but it’s also stirring up a desperation for an answer in many. And the Church is the only one with that answer: Jesus Christ.
