Texas Children’s Hospital has agreed to a major settlement with the State of Texas after investigations into pediatric gender-transition treatments and alleged improper Medicaid billing practices.
As part of the agreement, the hospital reportedly agreed to:
• pay $10 million,
• stop providing gender-transition services to minors,
• cut ties with five physicians involved in those procedures,
• strengthen compliance measures,
• and create a detransition clinic for patients seeking to reverse prior treatments.
Pay to transition…now pay to detransition…seems like either way the hospital wins. How about we all just stick to the genders God gave us and stop pretending we can be anything else?
