Most people celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with symbols of luck. But Patrick himself trusted something far more powerful.
In a land filled with pagan practices, hostility, and real danger, he prayed what became known as St. Patrick’s Breastplate—a declaration that Christ surrounded him on every side.
“Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me…”
For over 1,500 years, believers have prayed these words in times of fear, oppression, uncertainty, and spiritual battle—not trusting luck, but the living Christ.
Patrick didn’t drive out darkness with charms or symbols.
He stood in the authority of Jesus.
