Orrin Pullings Sr., a bishop, collapsed during a church service after suffering a brain hemorrhage. His wife, Medina Pullings, waited through emergency surgery surrounded by family and church members, praying for his survival.
She later testified that while in the waiting room she sensed God speak to her heart, writing in her journal that he would experience a “rapid recovery” and be raised up in 10 days. During the days that followed, her husband remained unconscious and initially did not recognize her.
But on the tenth day, she says he was discharged from the hospital fully recovered — walking out on his own, alert, and needing no rehabilitation. Reflecting on the outcome, Medina summarized it simply: “When He (God) said miracle, He meant miracle.”
