Heartbreaking news out of Pennsylvania—an 11-year-old boy was charged with criminal homicide after fatally shooting his father. Reports say the father had taken away the boy’s Nintendo Switch which led to anger and, tragically, the boy accessing a locked gun safe (where he thought his Switch was being kept) and using a revolver to kill his father while he slept.
The Bible speaks of difficult times in the last days, including the breakdown of family relationships:
““Abrother will betray his brother to death, a father will betray his own child, and children will rebel against their parents and cause them to be killed.”-Matthew 10:21
This passage reminds us that the end times will bring increasing strife and rebellion. Please pray for this family. Families are a gift from God, and healing can be found in Jesus. God’s love can restore even the most broken relationships.
