Kiara Jenkins, a 36-year-old mother of five and lifelong member of Mt. Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, was fatally shot early Sunday morning.
Police say Jenkins was found in an alley near 64th Street and Drexel Avenue around 4:30 a.m., and church members believe she was on her way to the church’s 5 a.m. service.
