President Trump delivered a video message to the March for Life, praised “students, families, patriots, and believers” who have gathered for 53 years “to defend the infinite worth and God-given dignity of every human life.” Marking 2026 as 250 years since the Declaration of Independence, he thanked those “out on this winter day… to stand up for the unborn.”
Trump pointed to his first term, saying he appointed “judges and justices who believed in interpreting the Constitution as written,” and argued that “because of that, the pro-life movement won the greatest victory in its history.” He said the work now continues nationwide and called it “a battle that must be fought, must be won… above all in the hearts and souls of the people.”
He linked the cause to faith and religious liberty, saying his administration is “strongly defending religious liberty,” “bringing back faith in America,” and “bringing back God.” He also claimed his administration has “stopped forced taxpayer funding of abortion at home and abroad,” is “championing faith-based adoption and foster care,” and is supporting parents by “investing $1,000 into an account… for every newborn baby,” urging continued commitment to “the eternal truth that every child is a gift from God.”
