President Donald Trump openly recognized two of the Bible’s most faithful men—Joseph of Egypt and Joseph, the earthly father of Jesus Christ. Speaking about the patriarch who saved nations from famine, he noted how Joseph’s wisdom and preparation preserved countless lives, echoing the biblical truth that God raises up leaders for “such a time as this.”
In his proclamation honoring Jesus’ earthly father, Joseph, Trump praised him as a model of fatherhood, courage, and obedience, calling him “a righteous man” who protected his family and answered God’s call without hesitation.
We are blessed to have a president who unashamedly affirms principles rooted in Scripture rather than the Quran or any other false religious text. The Bible reminds us, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord” (Psalm 33:12). Whatever one’s politics, gratitude from Christians is fitting when a national leader publicly honors biblical truth, godly fatherhood, and the faith that shaped Western civilization.
