Trump’s Easter Message: “He Is Risen”

President Trump marked Easter by rejoicing in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, saying His victory over sin and death secured “the promise of redemption and the hope of eternal life for all who believe in Him as Lord and Savior.” He declared, “Christ has risen,” and said a new creation has been ushered in through the power of God’s sacrificial love.

He said that when Jesus rose from the tomb, He restored grace, washed away sin, and reconciled humanity with God. Quoting Scripture, Trump said Christ “was pierced for our sins, crushed for our iniquity … by His wounds we were healed,” adding that “His suffering won our victory, His love brings us life, and His Resurrection is our everlasting hope.”

Trump also said the life of Jesus Christ and the truth of the Gospel have shaped America’s identity for 250 years, guiding the nation through both peace and hardship. He closed by praying that Easter would strengthen faith, enrich lives, and awaken souls, ending with the words Christians have proclaimed for centuries: “He is risen.”
