Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the son of Uganda’s president and the country’s Chief of Defence Forces, posted a series of messages on X expressing strong support for Israel and issuing threats toward Iran.
He wrote that no one would be allowed to harm Israel and claimed that Africa would defend it, adding that he was prepared to deploy 100,000 Ugandan soldiers to protect what he called the Holy Land.
In additional posts, he warned that any threat against Israel would be treated as a threat against his people, dismissing Iran’s strength and claiming he had hundreds of thousands of young men ready for war.
He also raised concerns about Turkey, stating that if issues were not addressed, Uganda could cut diplomatic ties within 30 days
