Children Protected, Predators Stopped

7,200 children located or rescued. 3,400 child predators arrested. 3 million predator accounts dismantled on the dark web.

Those are the numbers FBI Director Kash Patel announced this month, citing results from the bureau’s child exploitation enforcement push under the current administration. Patel said the 3,400 arrests represent a 99 percent increase over the best year the FBI recorded under the previous administration. He credited a major operational shift — pulling 1,500 FBI employees out of Washington and placing them permanently in the field, working directly alongside state and local law enforcement. The bureau also launched a coordinated cyber campaign targeting the Tor network, where predators operate anonymously and traffic in child sexual abuse material. The global operation known as Operation Grayskull resulted in 19 arrests in the United States and additional arrests in seven other countries. Patel noted that many of those arrested had no prior criminal record — and were people their communities trusted.

These are children who went home. That is the only number that ultimately matters.

Matthew 18:6 says, “If anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”

The protection of children is not a political position. It is a moral one.
