Few people expected Donald Trump to become one of the most openly faith-forward presidents in American history. Yet here we are. The man who critics spent years mocking for holding a Bible has consistently placed God at the center of his public life in ways no modern president has matched. He stood in the Rose Garden and declared that faith is more powerful than government and nothing is more powerful than God. He told the nation at his inauguration that he was saved by God to make America great again. He said at the National Prayer Breakfast that without faith in God there would be no American story. He read Scripture on the National Mall just this past weekend as thousands gathered to rededicate this nation ahead of its 250th birthday. Whatever you think of the politics, the pattern is undeniable. This is a man who has concluded that America’s problems are too big for government alone to solve. That the only foundation strong enough to hold this nation together is the one it was built on. A nation that forgets God does not gradually decline. It collapses. History has proven this over and over again. “Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it.” — Psalm 127:1 KJV No policy, no president, and no party can substitute for what only God can provide. What does it mean to you when a leader publicly acknowledges that God is greater than government? #trump #usa #faith
