A federal prosecutor just walked into a California vote-counting center with a mandate to investigate — and votes are still being counted.
U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli, President Trump’s appointee as the top federal prosecutor in Los Angeles, announced Friday that his office has opened multiple election fraud investigations related to California’s gubernatorial primary and sent a prosecutor directly to Los Angeles County’s ballot tabulation center. Essayli wrote: “California’s election system has serious structural vulnerabilities. Universal vote-by-mail with no voter ID requirements creates conditions where fraud can go undetected and unpunished, eroding public confidence. My office will not look the other way. We will investigate and prosecute. Every legal vote deserves to be counted.”
The probe came as late-counted mail ballots — 99% of ballots still being counted — continued shifting the governor’s race, with Democrat Xavier Becerra overtaking Trump-endorsed Republican Steve Hilton after trailing by more than 120,000 votes the day after the election.
No fraud has been established. But the underlying concern is legitimate: a system where results shift by six figures over multiple days leaves millions of voters — on both sides — questioning what they’re watching.
“The integrity of leaders makes a nation great; but their sins are its downfall.” — Proverbs 14:34 (MSG). A nation’s trust in its elections is not a partisan issue. It is a foundational one.
Whatever the investigation finds, every American deserves clarity — not a count that takes weeks.
Do you think California’s election system needs reform, regardless of which party benefits? #trump #america #truth
