Elon Musk stood on the floor of Charlie Kirk’s memorial service at State Farm Stadium on September 21, 2025, and when asked why he believed Kirk was killed, he paused and said this:
“Charlie was a man of peace. He was killed because his words made a difference. He was showing people the light. And he was killed by the dark.”
Over 100,000 people filled that stadium that day. Kirk was shot and killed on September 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University in Utah. He was 31 years old. A suspect has been charged. Evidence uncovered by the FBI included messages inscribed on the bullets and a hand-written note left at the scene.
Kirk’s widow Erika took the stage that same day and chose to forgive her husband’s killer — quoting Jesus on the cross as her reason. She said she forgave him because it is what Christ did.
That is the difference between light and dark, right there. One side took a life. The other side offered forgiveness.
John 1:5 says: “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
It never has. It never will.
What do you think — does Erika Kirk’s decision to forgive her husband’s killer reflect the kind of faith most people only read about? #elonmusk #america #faith
