Senator Josh Hawley, a Republican from Missouri, has called for Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison to face accountability over the massive Feeding Our Future fraud scheme. Speaking on Jesse Watters Primetime, Hawley said he wants both men held responsible, accusing Walz of covering up the fraud and Ellison of accepting kickbacks. The Justice Department has described the Feeding Our Future scandal as the largest pandemic fraud case in the country, with at least 78 defendants federally charged and roughly $250 million stolen from a program meant to feed needy children during COVID-19. The House Oversight Committee released a report titled The Cost of Doing Nothing, alleging that Walz and Ellison knew of widespread fraud years earlier than disclosed, misled the public, and retaliated against whistleblowers who raised concerns. Reports surfaced that Ellison met with Feeding Our Future representatives, agreed to help them deal with investigators, and accepted campaign contributions days later. Both men have denied wrongdoing. Walz dropped his gubernatorial reelection bid amid the unfolding scandal. Aimee Bock, the founder of Feeding Our Future, was sentenced to 41 and a half years in prison. Scripture is unflinching about leaders who exploit their power for personal gain or shield wickedness from the light. Proverbs 17:15 says, He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the Lord. Stealing from children to enrich the powerful is not a partisan offense. It is a moral one. Leaders are not above the law of man, and they are never above the law of God. Justice delayed is still justice owed, and every dollar stolen from the hungry will one day be answered for. What does it say about a nation when those entrusted to protect the vulnerable become the very ones who profit from their suffering? #usa #accountability #justice
