Johnson Defends Trump’s Domestic Focus

House Speaker Mike Johnson just made one of the boldest defenses of President Trump’s domestic agenda in recent months — and he didn’t mince words.

At a press briefing on May 27, 2026, Speaker Johnson was asked whether Trump was focused enough on domestic policy after the president said he didn’t care about the midterms. Johnson responded: “This president is more laser focused and more dialed in on domestic issues here in the homeland than any president in memory. He spends more time working on domestic issues in one day than Joe Biden did in four. That’s an objective fact.”

Whether you agree with the comparison or not, the statement reflects a broader argument playing out in Washington: that the current administration is prioritizing American households — economy, border, energy, manufacturing — over global engagement and foreign policy commitments.

Leadership has always carried a standard. The Bible describes it plainly — a leader who serves the people entrusted to him, not his own interests or his own legacy.

“Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.” — Matthew 20:26

The measuring stick for any leader isn’t their words about focus. It’s whether the people they govern can feel the difference in their daily lives.

Do you think the current administration is more focused on everyday #america #truth #trump
