Her name was Paige Gomer.
She was 28 years old. A single mother from Hinton, Oklahoma. Her daughter Marki Lane was just 2 years old.
On the night of March 21st, Paige was riding in a car on Highway 37 in Canadian County when Ramon Hector Martine Ontiveros — a 33-year-old illegal alien from Mexico — ambushed her vehicle with an AR-15. He opened fire through the back windshield. A bullet struck Paige in the chest and killed her.
He admitted it. He confessed on the ride to the county jail.
He shouldn’t have been in this country. He shouldn’t have had the chance to pull that trigger. He shouldn’t have been within a thousand miles of Paige Gomer or her little girl.
But he was. And now Marki will grow up without her mother.
Every time you hear someone mock ICE, or call deportation “cruel,” or scream that the border doesn’t matter — remember Paige.
Her death wasn’t a statistic. Her death was a policy failure. And every American killed by someone who should have been deported is a name, a face, a child left behind.
“Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter.” — Proverbs 24:11
Scripture doesn’t tell us to be passive while the innocent are slaughtered. It commands us to act. To protect. To stand in the gap.
ICE didn’t kill Paige Gomer. An illegal alien with an AR-15 did. And the policies that let him stay here are the same policies still being defended today.
Will you say her name — Paige Gomer — so the next family doesn’t have to bury one of their own because politicians refused to secure the border? #justice #accountability #usa
