President Donald Trump is set to read 2 Chronicles 7 from the Oval Office during “America Reads the Bible,” a nationwide weeklong Scripture-reading event marking 250 years of the Bible in America.
Organizers said the passage was intentionally reserved for him because of its long-standing role as a call to prayer for the nation.
Nearly 500 participants are taking part in the event, which runs at Museum of the Bible.
