A UniteUS outreach event at the University of Central Florida drew more than 5,000 students Tuesday night, with organizers reporting that 1,600 made decisions to “go all in with Jesus.” Founder Tonya Prewett said the movement is gaining momentum, declaring, “Revival is not slowing down!”
Prewett shared that “hundreds of students were baptized” and that many who previously identified as atheist now profess faith in Christ. “What a night! What a God!” she wrote, describing the gathering as part of a broader spiritual awakening unfolding on college campuses across the country.
The UniteUS movement began three years ago following the February 2023 Asbury Awakening. Its first major event at Auburn University saw around 200 students spontaneously baptized in a nearby lake. Since then, more than 120,000 students have attended UniteUS events, with thousands committing their lives to Jesus.
Recent outreaches have taken place at campuses including Florida State, Alabama, Georgia, Cincinnati, Grand Canyon, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Purdue, NC State, Clemson, and the University of South Florida, where more than 1,000 chose Christ last fall. The ministry has also expanded to high schools, where 1,000 students surrendered their lives to Jesus at a Nashville event in December.
Prewett told CBN News that students are “begging” for opportunities to encounter God, reflecting what she described as a growing hunger among Gen Z for faith and revival.
