The federal government just opened a vault Americans have been demanding access to for almost eighty years.
The Trump administration’s Department of War released its first batch of declassified files related to UFOs and unidentified aerial phenomena, beginning what officials describe as a multi-phase transparency rollout. The released materials include military encounter reports, pilot testimonies, and previously classified investigations into unexplained sightings recorded by U.S. armed forces over decades.
For generations, average Americans were told these subjects were fringe, unserious, or simply imagined. Pilots who reported strange objects were quietly dismissed. Witnesses were mocked. Documents were locked away under classifications most citizens didn’t even know existed. That posture has now shifted at the highest levels of government.
Whatever the files ultimately reveal, the bigger story is what this represents. A government finally treating its own people like adults capable of handling the truth. Trust between citizens and the institutions meant to serve them has been bleeding for years, and transparency is one of the few things that can begin to restore it.
For Christians, the existence of unexplained things in the sky is not a faith crisis. Scripture has never claimed the universe is small or simple. What Scripture does claim is that nothing in creation, seen or unseen, sits outside the authority of the One who made it all.

The Christian doesn’t need every mystery solved to keep walking in faith. The God who spoke galaxies into being is not threatened by declassified documents. He is not surprised by anything those files contain. And He is not waiting on a government press release to be sovereign.
Truth has nothing to fear from sunlight. Faith has nothing to fear from truth.
