U.S. Army Reserve Capt. Cody A. Khork, 35, of Winter Haven, Florida, was killed in a drone attack at the Port of Shuaiba in Kuwait on March 1, 2026.
Khork enlisted in the National Guard in 2009 and later commissioned as a military police officer in the Army Reserve in 2014, deploying to Saudi Arabia, Guantanamo Bay and Poland during his service.
Remembered by his family for his devotion, character and generous spirit, he also received several military honors, including the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal and Joint Service Achievement Medal.
