Mauricio Ruffy turned one of the biggest moments of his career into a bold public declaration of faith after winning at the UFC White House event.
Instead of focusing only on his victory, Ruffy quoted John 3:16 and proclaimed the gospel inside the Octagon: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
“Jesus changed my life. Jesus saved my life,” Ruffy declared. “Jesus wants to save your life too. Give your life to Jesus.”
With the spotlight on him, Ruffy pointed beyond the win and used the moment to tell the world where his hope comes from.
