Two Million Join São Paulo’s March for Jesus

About two million Christians gathered in São Paulo for the annual “March for Jesus,” one of the world’s largest Christian events. Organized by Pastor Estevam Hernandes and other Pentecostal leaders, the gathering featured worship, prayer, and gospel music.

This event reflected hopes for change as Brazil faces widespread protests over corruption, public services, and economic concerns. Hernandes said the event continues to grow because of years of “work and prayer.”

Organizers stressed that the march’s purpose was to peacefully and publicly express Christian faith. The event has grown significantly in recent years and now draws crowds larger than some of Brazil’s most famous festivals.
