Blood Moon Eclipse Lights the Skies in March 2026

In early March 2026, the last total lunar eclipse until 2028–2029 will turn the full Moon deep red, creating a dramatic Blood Moon.

The eclipse will be visible across much of the world, including North America, South America, Asia, Australia, and Russia. Totality is expected to last about 58 minutes, with the red coloration visible for roughly 82 minutes.

Blood moons are mentioned in Scripture—most notably in Joel, Acts of the Apostles, Revelation, and the Gospel of Luke—often described as heavenly signs connected to the Day of the Lord.

Jewish tradition in the Talmud has also long viewed eclipses as meaningful signs, and previously Pastor John Hagee has said to CBN,

“The evidence is very clear Scripturally that God controls the sun, moon, and stars – that God is sending us a signal through the sun, the moon, and the stars. The question is, are we listening?”
