Brandon Lake & Jelly Roll Win GRAMMY for Hard Fought Hallelujah

Brandon Lake and Jelly Roll won the GRAMMY for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for “Hard Fought Hallelujah” at the 2026 GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony on February 1.

Jelly Roll was not present to accept the award, but Lake took the stage and immediately gave thanks to Jesus, along with his wife and the many collaborators and producers who helped bring the song to life.

Lake also praised Jelly Roll for embracing the track and helping take it to a wider audience, saying his friend “took this song places that I couldn’t have by myself.”

He shared the powerful response the song has received from listeners, noting that many have messaged him saying it “literally saved people’s lives and pointed them to Jesus.”

Lake encouraged fans with Scripture from John 16:33, reminding them that even in a troubled world, Christ has overcome — and believers can overcome through Him as well.
