Brandon Lake is calling on Christian artists to stop hiding behind polished performances and start sharing the Gospel boldly. After winning Artist of the Year and Male Artist of the Year at the 2026 K-LOVE Fan Awards, Lake said the world is hungry for truth, honesty, and a real encounter with Jesus.
In his remarks, Lake urged fellow artists not to overcomplicate the message. “Share the gospel,” he said. “It’s not hard — and honestly, you should share it in the broken way. Don’t be a slick pastor — people are over it, just share your heart.”
Lake said he has been doing exactly that on tour, sharing the Gospel at the end of each night and seeing tens of thousands respond. His message is now resonating far beyond the stage as a challenge to choose authenticity over performance.
