Former porn star turned pastor Brittni De La Mora criticized Action Church for promoting Easter with an image resembling the Playboy bunny logo and the slogan, “Get Some Action this Easter.” She called the ad inappropriate and contrary to the Gospel message.
De La Mora said she left the adult industry because she encountered “the truth of God’s Word,” not because churches tried to be trendy. She added, “People who are lost aren’t looking for more of the world. They’re looking for hope.”
Citing Ephesians 5:4, she said Easter is about “the resurrection of Jesus Christ, not innuendo, not gimmicks.”
