At the 31st Movieguide Awards, Candace Cameron Bure prayed that Hollywood would be bold for God and fear Him above public opinion. She also asked the Lord to pursue every heart so they would know His mercy, grace, and salvation through Jesus.
“Lord, my prayer for today is that all the people in this room would be bold for you that they would continue to be bold in their scripts and their writing and their producing and directing, the fear of man would not be bigger than the fear and awe and reverence of you, Lord”
“May every person in this room know who you are, I pray that you would pursue every heart in this room and every heart that is watching this right now, pursue relentlessly, so that they may know your mercy and love and grace”
“We remember that while we’re being honored and giving honor to so many that um there’s no one that deserves higher honor than you because you gave your one and only son for all of us to die on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin so that be we can be reconciled to you and Justified before you on Judgment Day we thank you Lord we love you. I pray in Jesus name amen.”
