Former Carrie Prejean wrote a lengthy open letter criticizing Donald Trump after being removed from the Religious Liberty Commission.
Prejean said she was dismissed after raising concerns during a hearing about antisemitism and defending Candace Owens, arguing that opposing certain political positions related to Israel should not be labeled antisemitic.
She claimed her removal violated her religious freedom and accused the commission of being influenced by political and foreign interests.
In the letter, Prejean said she had long supported Trump and the MAGA movement but now feels betrayed, arguing that her Catholic beliefs and stance on issues involving Israel and Gaza led to her removal.
She said she will continue speaking out for religious liberty and urged the president to reconsider the direction of the movement.
