Christians are among those being shot as Iranian police crack down on nationwide protests, according to Baptist Press.
Iran Alive Ministries founder Hormoz Shariat said believers remain on the streets—feeding protesters, treating the wounded in their homes to avoid arrests, and sharing the Gospel—despite grave danger.
“Christians,” Shariat said, “are called to be salt and light in every area.” He shared that a wounded protester came to Christ after a Christian nurse sheltered and cared for him.
With hundreds reportedly killed and names unreleased, he said it is “very likely” Christians are among the victims because they are actively serving during the unrest.
As tensions rise and Donald Trump warns Iran against killing protesters, Shariat asked for prayer for peace, protection for believers, and an end to the violence.
