Danica McKellar marked her “spiritual birthday” by reflecting on four years as a Christian, saying her life has become “so much calmer and more blessed” since building a personal relationship with God.
The “Wonder Years” actress said “talking to God regularly” has “made all the difference,” and shared four lessons she has learned: “Forgiveness is powerful,” the Bible is full of “interesting and often scandalous stories,” trusting God can bring calm even when life feels uncertain, and the empty feeling she once had was because “God was the missing piece.”
McKellar, who became a Christian after Candace Cameron Bure invited her to a Palm Sunday church service in 2022, has often described faith not as mere rule-following, but as joy, peace, and relationship.
She said discovering that Christians can have “a personal relationship with God” was a revelation, and she now hopes others will be open to God’s love because “it’s transformative.”
