Joni Lamb, cofounder and president of the Christian broadcaster, has died at 65.
“With heavy hearts, we share the news that Joni Lamb graduated to Heaven this morning,” Daystar said Thursday, adding that she is now “in the presence of Jesus, reunited with Marcus.”
The ministry said Lamb had been privately facing “serious health matters” before a recent back injury led to a more serious medical situation.
Lamb and her late husband, Marcus Lamb, founded Daystar in 1993, helping grow it into one of the world’s largest Christian TV networks.
“She has modeled what it means to be fearless, to be bold, and to stand for righteousness even when it’s unpopular,” Daystar said.
