Scott Adams, the creator of Dilbert, died months after publicly revealing his diagnosis with prostate cancer.
After his death, Adams’ social media account shared a deeply personal final message dated January 1, 2026, in which he described an unexpected turn toward the Christian faith.
He said that ongoing conversations with Christian friends led him to consider Jesus “before I go,” acknowledging that, after reflection, the “risk-reward calculation” of faith ultimately compelled him to respond.
In the message, Adams made a direct declaration of faith, saying “I accept Jesus Christ as my lord and savior, and I look forward to spending an eternity with him.”
