Dilbert Creator Scott Adams Plans to Convert to Christianity

Scott Adams, the American author and cartoonist behind Dilbert, says he plans to convert to Christianity — a move he revealed while reflecting on conversations with Christian friends who have urged him to do so for years.

Adams said he has never been a believer, but he’s always respected Christians who actively try to convert him. “How would I believe you believe your own religion if you’re not trying to convert me?” he said.

In the video, Adams announced that he has now made up his mind. “You’re going to hear for the first time today that it is my plan to convert,” he said, adding that “you’re never too late.”

He framed the decision as a simple risk-reward calculation. “If it turns out there’s nothing there, I’ve lost nothing,” Adams explained. “If there is something there and the Christian model is the closest to it — I win.”

Adams also said any doubts would be settled instantly if there is an afterlife. “Any skepticism I have about reality would be instantly answered if I wake up in heaven,” he said.

Addressing his Christian friends directly, Adams added, “You don’t need to talk me into it. Yes, it’s coming.”
