Erika Kirk Responds to Heckler with Prayer

Erika Kirk used an unexpected interruption at the Turning Point USA Women’s Leadership Summit to share a message centered on faith, prayer, and Christian forgiveness.

While speaking about putting trust in God, a heckler repeatedly shouted accusations from the audience. Kirk responded calmly, saying, “Happiness comes and goes — and I pray that you find it,” before continuing her remarks.

After the protester was removed, Kirk pointed to the incident as an example of why believers should follow Christ’s teaching to “pray for your enemies” and those who persecute them. She urged attendees to respond to hostility with prayer rather than anger, saying, “You pray for your enemies. You pray for those that persecute you.”

Throughout her speech, Kirk emphasized faith in God as the source of meaning and encouraged women to embrace biblical values, family, marriage, and God’s design for their lives.
