Worship director Jordan McCullough publicly gave thanks to God after advancing to the Top 3 on American Idol, joining fellow Christian contestants Hannah Harper and Keyla Richardson. In a grateful message, McCullough wrote, Lord thank You, saying he wants to steward the opportunity well.
His advancement adds to what many viewers see as one of the most faith-filled seasons in recent American Idol history, with several contestants openly speaking about Jesus and giving God the glory. As the finale approaches, the Top 3 now includes three singers who have been unafraid to express their Christian faith on one of television’s biggest stages.
