Franklin Graham is pushing back on criticism over President Donald Trump’s deleted AI image that many said portrayed him like Christ.
Graham said he does “not believe President Trump would knowingly depict himself as Jesus Christ,” calling that “certainly inappropriate.” He added Trump thought the image showed “a doctor helping someone” and removed it once concerns were raised.
Graham also defended a second meme showing Jesus embracing Trump, saying he liked the idea of Christ “guiding him” and added, “We all need to be listening to Jesus.” He accused Trump’s critics of being eager to twist the situation, saying opponents are “foaming at the mouth at any possible opportunity to make him look bad.”
