Gen Z Fuels King’s Church DC Surge

King’s Church DC says it has seen nearly 2,000% growth since launching in 2018, with pastors crediting much of the surge to Gen Z and millennials returning to church after COVID-19 and searching for meaning and community.

Attendance reportedly вырос from about 30 people in 2018 to around 650 by 2025, with leaders describing a revival beginning in 2020. Pastors also said another spike followed the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, as more young people began seeking faith and stability.

Church leaders believe younger generations are drawn to Christianity for identity, purpose, and real relationships beyond technology and isolation.
