A trans-identified male golfer, Hailey Davidson, has filed a lawsuit against the United States Golf Association and Ladies Professional Golf Association after new rules barred athletes who went through male puberty from competing in women’s events.
The policy change, set for 2025, aims to protect fairness in women’s sports, but Davidson argues it effectively excludes transgender athletes from competition.
