Jaden Ivey went off on social media after being waived by the Chicago Bulls, pushing back hard on the team’s claim that his behavior was “conduct detrimental to the team.”
He called it straight up: “They’re liars… that’s a lie,” insisting he was doing everything right as a teammate and in rehab, saying, “All I’m preaching about is Jesus Christ and they waived me.” He also said people were labeling him “crazy” or “psycho” because of his faith.
Ivey made it clear he’s not backing down: “They gonna try to stop me but I’m not… I’m going to keep speaking the truth,” even as he feels others are “turning their back on me because of my faith.”
